G&L Tribute L2500

Stacked Vol/Tone for each pickup, stacked Bass/Mids, and Highs. With a slap switch for Active/Passive mode. Also, I would have two, one Ash with Maple FB(Flatwounds for it), and one Walnut Satin with Ebonal/Ebony FB(with tapewounds).

Oh yeah, 35" scale too.

The SR line has nice basses. Too bad Ibanez's have really narrow spacing.(Too bad for me anyway.)

I'm younger and have some what small hands. They're great for playing metalcore styled music, with the music my band plays, it can be very smooth with the guitar doing arpegios and chords, and me soloing. To playing August burns red styled music.

I'm most likely younger than you are. I just have big hands and prefer 19 mm spacing. I've played a small amount of metalcore(Killswitch) and used a P with tapewounds. Yeah, i'm kinda weird like that.

Anyway, I'd also like a 5 string style Explorer, not an Alembic though. I remember someone had some kind of 6 string Explorer with an Eye of Horus inlay. It was pretty cool. I want that. It might've been a Warmoth build.

Factors:
(1) For a number of reasons I would want a short scale.

(2) I love vintage instruments (and cars).

So my sig bass would be an umodified excellent condition 1968 Fender Mustang (special issue blue with racing stripes):



And my sig car would be a 1967 Shelby GT 500 Mustang (with racing stripes):

Probably a Warwick $$ Corvette with a few added electronic features. A/P switch plus making the pre a 3-band w/switchable mids.

OR a T-40 with a lighter weight body!!

The neck on this bass was shaped to match my 1988 Sadowsky, which has a thinner neck then current models. Not quite as thin as a Geddy Lee, but not as thick as a standard Fender Jazz.
