Currently I use Ampeg and have for 9 years now. Looking into getting some new cabs but not sure what yet. My guitar players use the Vader 412 and 215 guitar cabs they sound amazing, but I haven't heard anything about the bass cabs, so I don't know if I should take a chance on them:hmm:.

Also looking at Markbass, Aguilar, and one of the dealers here are now a Epifani dealer so I wouldn't mind trying one of those out.

Until then I will stick with Ampeg.

Smith78, I really get a kick out of your poll selections. :)

I voted other (Peavey), because that is what I have and like alot. Sure I like Hartley's company, but mainly the fact that used Peavey equipment can be had quite reasonably as my music budget is limited.

A few years ago I played in a band using the g**tarist's Ampeg (BA210) and thought that amp was very good, especially for it's modest size.

1. Carvin: BX600 powering a sbr210.15
2. Carvin: R1000 powering a RL210 & RL115
3. Carvin: R 600 powering more Carvin cab's.

All excellent amps, made in USA, power to spare, reliable, cost effective, etc, etc, etc...

I have multiple basses by multiple manufacturers, both US & foreign built, but my amp preference should be obvious...

SWR all the way.
A little underpowered but amazing sound. Had to replace the Groove Tubes in the preamp with something better though. As for Cabs I would say Ampeg or Avatar.
