Favorite Band with no Bass Player?

Only said:
...Today was my day to be the "FREEBIRD!!" guy we all know from gigs. ;)

Whenever some moron at my band's shows yells that out, my guitarist just gives him the finger and says "This doesn't cost you a dime!" but I'd rather hear that than some moron play Stairway to Heaven again (unless said "moron" turned out to be Jimmy Page, in which case, I'd let it pass)

I like a lot of hammond organ jazz where the left hand and the foot pedals cover the bass. I also really dig Charlie Hunter--i guess there is a bass there, it's just the bottom 2 or 3 strings of his guitar--the guy is awesome! I've heard good things about the bennavente russo duo, but have not heard their stuff.

Genesis.

Well, it might be subject to debate, of course, but Mike is really a guitar player; he plays bass only when he must, it seems.
Many of the older Genesis songs have no "real" bass much of the time. Sometimes bass is provided by the Moog Taurus bass pedals.

So I sort of concider Genesis to be a band without a bass player. And they're definetly my favourite.
