Favorite Band with no Bass Player?

Some of my favorite bands have no bass players: The Cramps, The Screamers, The Oblivians, and Kraftwerk just to name a few.
Thank you for saying that- such a great live band. Never have I been so happy while having beer spilled on me. I got to touch the guitar when Randy threw it out over the crowd.

So you DON'T like "Our Endless Numbered Days"? I prefer it to all the others.
The Superfantastics come to mind. Great Canadian garage rock.
When I saw Jeff Beck open for Stevie Ray Vaughn he had a trio with Tony Hymas on keys and Terry Bozzio on drums. I never missed the bass at all. They were awesome.
Same when I saw Ronnie Montrose open for Lynyrd Skynyrd - no bass player, but they sounded great.

I agree the White Stripes made some killer songs with just the one guitar and drumslike so totaly teh White Stripes!!!!11!!!remeber folks, they are like bringing back the blues or what not.
I saw the Black Keys live in Ohio. They were amazing. It was a pretty small venue and the fire alarm got pulled like a song and a half in. When we all got back in the place we ended up just a few feet away from the stage. It was a great night. Plus the tickets were only a little over twenty bucks.
Definitely the Black Keys, IMHO as far as drums-guitar duos go they are vastly better than the White Stripes.
