That's nothing. I had two pedals that broke because of rain damage, totally my fault. I called them up and they sent out two new pedals. I didn't even have to send the old ones back.

Buy Rocktron.

I use a CE-20, but that's mostly cuz I got it for free. I love the CE-1 setting, and the Dimensional D gets the subtle-but-sexy award. The other settings are nice, but those are the two I use the most.

I also got an FX65 for ten bucks that I fixed cuz it was broke...it can't really compare unless you want something that's clear even at really high speeds.

That's awesome. I have a Silver Dragon from them, and a Chorus. I had a compressor, which was great, but I just didn't use it. So I sold it. I will definitely be buying more of their stuff in the future.

I swear by the Boss CE-2B, the Made in Japan model, from the '80s. It's an analog pedal and is basically the same as a CE-2, though the bass comes through unaffected, which is nice. Not the deepest or most 'powerful' chorus pedal out there, it still has a beautiful sound to it, very lush and pleasant.

PLUS, it doubles as one of the best guitar chorus too, since it's basically just a CE-2 that leaves the bass frequencies unaffected.

Anyway, i got mine in perfect shape (box and all) for $16 on ebay, so you can't go wrong there. Good secret weapon.

I have a Digitech Bass Multi Chorus as well and like it. One thing is that you have to have a power supply with it because batteries do not last long in these pedals; like 2 hours or so.

I also have an old Boss CE-2B. It sounds nice and warm but doesn't get the extreme and three dimensional sounds that the Digitech does.

If you're just going to grab something for now, how about a Danelectro Fab Chorus? Can't hurt to check out the reviews.
Man, tough to beat at $15, and it sounds very pleasing.
I did the same thing - I bought one while looking for a "real" chorus. I kinda forgot about it, and it is still on my board. At some point, I'll but a better chorus, but it fills the need, and then some.
