analogman clone chorus, I'm predictable on this one.
I tried owned the ebs/fulltone/TC electronics, all were 'fine' but as soon as I heard the analogman I knew I'd found my chorus pedal.

That's one reason I so-like my CEB-3.
The CEB-3 features a filter control that is continuously-variable over a wide range of freqs. You can tell it to chorus everything (all frequencies), all the way to just the high-highs - I mean just thin harmonics, way up-there.
I usually always carefully adjusted the filter, but only over a small range - like 8:00 to 10:30 on the knob (that's essentially NO fundamentals). But lately I've been working on my clean tone, and that's led me to run the filter as high as (uh.. 'high' on the knob - clockwise - causes it to include MORE lows in the chorusing)11:30 or 12:00. (Oo - I'm gettin' wild now...)
I've had very nice results with running it after the overdrive and before the hard-distortion (best results to me is for the pitch-shifting psychodelia to sound like Robin Trower); for that I keep the filter to not-much fundamentals to speak of - maybe just tick'lin'em. Usual setting for is 3:30, 10:00, 1:30, 10:30.
For clean I use 3:30, 11:30 (maybe 12:30?.. still working on it), 1:00, 11:00.

I just sold my CEB-3 because my very good friend showed me the Boss CE-5 chorus ensemble. All I can say is WOW! It it the most lush, thick chorus I have ever heard and is night/day comparison with the CEB-3. It also does not even touch the bass frequencies....it sounds so good. People should definitely check it out...

I had one. A very natural tone, but way too subtle of a chorus effect for my liking.
All the convertees on here that have used some really nice choruses (chori?) make me really want to give one of tehse a shot. I do love my fulltone though; the option of some flange is nice to play around with, and the delay time knob is great.
Otherwise, I've only seriously used much cheaper choruses. As had been said, I thought the Boss Chorus Esemble was much more usefull than the bass chorus. the pair of filters was usefull, and I didn't think my low end was hurt much.

I don't think I've ever tried one.
Now, those have a 'true stereo' output, right? The CEB is sort-of 'stereo', but it's really just 'straight-out / pitch-shifted out'.

+10000000 on the CE-5...Every bassist out there should give this one a shot. I made the CEB-3 to CE-5 switch long ago, and I'll never look back. You can get super thick, layered, swirly choruses out of that puppy..and, of course, subtle too.

OK, I gotta try one of these. I don't think I'd get rid of the CEB, though. It's perfect for my chorus into distortion Trower-tone. I'd put the '5 later in the chain.
One thing that might sway me, though, is if the big twin-pedal has a good emulation of the CE-5 - then I could have that, AND that subtle-but-killer 'Dimension-D' sound!

The small clone is a decent pedal. It gets pretty deep, and I remember it being a pretty warm chorus. The small clone always makes me think of "Nirvana"-style chorus (Come as you are) whereas the Boss CE-2B that I play through calls to mind the Cure and more of an '80s sound (bright and sparkly), which is closer to what I'm going for. But the small clone is definitely nice. And remember the Analogman clone chorus is just a really really well made version of the same basic circuit... I haven't played the new Nano version, but it looks pretty sweet, and it probably won't fall apart as fast as the original model.
Chorus as an effect is pretty subjective, so if you think this'll sound good for you, i say go for it.

Someone else used chori... I think we can pretty much make it officially the plural form.
As for the Moollon, They do look really nice, but I see that as one place where a blend knob would suffice rather than wet and dry levels.
Seriously though, I think the effects forum is one of the odder ends of talkbass... aside from the swollen pickles, the amount of times things like this or organ sales come up... weird.
