Walmart just got a new flavor, like Salted Caramel something (swirl maybe?) and it's pretty darn good for $2.50. I also like cookie dough alot, and just straight vanilla.

Whaaa???? I've never tried to find ice cream at walmart...I need to look now. Ice cream has gone up in price and I hardly buy it anymore

I dug Breyer's Banana Bonanza, but they don't make it anymore. In general, pistachio and banana are my two favorites, but I love peppermint in the Fall.

This brings memories of Thrifty Drug store in Granada Hills CA about 7 blocks from my cousins house.

Wow - Memories! We had a Thrifty Drug store in La Habra CA where My wife and I grew up.
Waaay before Baskin-Robins 32 Flavors. They had a guy exclusively working the ice-cream counter with the little paper hat and apron.
Good ol' Rocky Road for me.

All of the above. Just wrote a post in the paleo diet thread, forgot to mention that I'm not too strict about it.. Eating some quality ice cream is a good thing from time to time.

Just had some Blue Bell vanilla, it was pretty good but not top shelf by any means.

I didn't know you could get Blue Bell outside of Texas. Sad part is it isn't as good as it used to be. Blue Bell, not Texas. Texas is even better than it used to be.
