favorite ice cream flavor?

The best ever was the Fresh Peach Icecream we used to make on my grandmother's back porch. Hand cranked with vanilla ice cream and fresh peaches we had sliced up. Since that is no longer available, chocolate will do.

Yeah I just hate going to Wal Mart so I rarely think of them. Now I know I can venture to the dark side when it's time for Ice Cream

Hershey's makes great ice cream. When I lived in Harrisburg, I used to go to a place (I think on Dauphin Street) and buy those big tubs of Peanut Butter Swirl when my kids would have birthday parties. I'll bet the Mallo Cup would be great too!
There is a local place (Dr. Mikes) that makes pumpkin, but only for about a month in the fall, when they get fresh pumpkin mash. Incredible.
They advertise the snot out of it here, still a decent product at a decent price. I like it. I'm talking about Blue Bell, not Texas.
Having lived in Texas for a few years, Blue Bell ice cream is just about one of the only likable things about Texas. And Wolf brand chili.
As for favorite ice cream, just a bowl of the aforementioned Blue Bell vanilla swimming in nice hot fudge is heaven in a bowl.

Hahaha, I just know how Texans are with their state pride, as that is how I am about California! Just messing with you a bit. I'm about an hour or so north of Dallas, you know, right next door to nowhere.
Texas isn't too bad, I've met some real cool people. I have learned to keep certain opinions about things to myself though.
My biggest qualm with Texas is the tex-mex style Mexican food. Around here that just seems to equate to mediocre Mexican food swimming in "queso" cheese sauce, but being from California, I am a bit spoiled in that regard. The bomb BBQ -almost- makes up for it though. Almost.
