Favorite James Bond?

Who is your favorite Bond actor?

You know, I like the last two Bond movies more than the rest for the same reason that I like the last two Batman movies far more than the rest for the same reasons: It's the dark and serious tone that I can get into. It's no longer about cheap one-liners and the hot chicks laid out (not that there's anything wrong with that, but it shouldn't be the focus) and package deal explosions.
I'm completely the opposite. I do not like the two new Batman movies compared to the old Burton/whoever ones, and I do not like the new Bond movies compared to the old ones. Eff the dark tones - it's a superhero and an impossible spy. The villians should be over the top ridiculous and there should be some humor. I hate that these movies take themselves so seriously. Both franchises are supposed to be FUN.

My favorite bond actor is Daniel Craig - he's the most capable actor of the bunch and Casino Royale really kicked butt! (Quantum... not so great - the series seems to fluctuate.)

Timothy Dalton brought a nice touch to the role, with his classically-trained edge. He didn't get the best scripts on his two films (especially Licence To Kill - ugh). If fate had been different (more opportunities, better scripts & direction), I think he would have raised the bar.

I appreciate Moore's more goofy approach. Connery is just as funny though quite a bit more dry. (And IMHO, Connery got better with age - Never Say Never Again is one of my favorites.)

As actors, most of them are pretty much one-trick ponies except Craig who is very versatile. IMO.

Interesting, but exactly what I expected:

Everyone who voted for Brosnan was in their 20's. The person who voted for Moore was in his 30's, and the people who voted for Connery were in their 40's or older.

I guess favorites are dependent on who you grow up on.

I'm 22, and Sean Connery is Bond.

I won't even watch the non Connery Bond movies anymore.

Guess I'm the only one so far going for Roger Moore.
"The Spy Who Loved Me" is my all time favourite - just great! Curd Jürgens makes a cool villain.
Haven't seen any Daniel Craig Bonds yet and Brosnan was totaly miscasted (IMO), don't like him at all.
Connery was great, but since I watch the movies in English mostly, his accent gives me a verrrry harrrrd time.

not this guy

Is that Pierce Brosnan or Fred McMurray in a color version of Flubber?
