Jethro Tull Carnegie Hall. N.Y Recorded Live New York City 1970

Pre-Aqualung Tull in their prime with Glenn Cornick on Bass. The incredible early version of "My God" featuring a tour-de-force Flute solo is worth the price alone.

At 18 I'd have said the Woodstock Boxed set or Jimi Hendrix Winterland

At 20 I'd have pointed you at an obscure Primus bootleg, probably the 7-27-97 show, sound quality was pretty decent, and Brain played his ass off that day.

At 22 I'd have said The Road Goes Ever On by Moutain

At 24 I'd have said The NightWatch by King Crimson

At 26 I'd have said the Epitaph Boxed Set by King Crimson

At 28 I'd have said the Great Deceiver Boxed Set by King Crimson

At 33 I'd have said Alive and Alive 2 by Kiss

At 35 I'd have said the Larks Tongue remastered 15 (16?) disc set by King Crimson

So.....it depends; that's the abbreviated version, I can probably fill in every year (e.g. Different Stages isn't on that list...think it came out when I was 21.)
