'Nuff said.

When I tabbed over to this thread, I thought it was the Carpel Tunnel thread and I was about to loose my lunch before I looked closer.

speakin of crazy sandwiches. If you are ever gigging in New Brunswick, NJ you need to go to the grease trucks and get one of these...

The Fat Filipino...cheese steak, chicken fingers, gyro, mozzarella sticks, french fries, white sauce, hot sauce and lettuce all on the same roll for $4.50. Served up at 3 in the morning by a Turkish guy playing middle eastern techno out of a jukebox, next to a fog machine, inside a truck with polariod pictures of half naked drunk college girls on it.

La Costa chicken super burrito, two chicken tacos and a Dr. pepper, its heaven after a day of hard work before a show. they have the best super burrito for 4 bucks you will ever have.

on a side note, I have driven from where I live now, to La Costa a 45 mile drive just for the burrito.

i dont like eating before a gig, I usualy end up eating pasta which sucks. i once had a steakburger that the gig was supplying (it was a schools fete kinda, well the opening of a new sports centre) that was good. crap gig though, we ended up playing to no one, it was too cold and everyone went around the corner where it was less cold.

The singer and I share an order of fries from the bar menu. We find the grease helps coat the throat to sing easier. But other than that...me, the singer, and the guitarist don't like to eat before a gig.

Our drummer on the other hand...right after load in, he has to always find a sit-down restraunt and pig-out on a full dinner. Ugh...that much food would send the rest of us running to the toilet trying to play on such a full stomach.
