Seriously though I go for Geddy Lee & Chris Squire
Gotta second Thomas Miller. And I'm gonna throw our very own John Turner out there too. Great chops and groove on display on his work with Lord Only, and always extremely musical, which is something a lot of prog musicians (not just bassists) seem to put by the wayside.
John Myung (overall), Geddy Lee (in his earlier years), Pete Trewavas (due to Transatlantic), Chris Squire (overall).
I thought that, but it looks like we're being proven wrong (thus far).
Nice to see Mr Levin getting much love, apparently one of John Myung's favourite players.

Colin Edwin from Porcupine Tree has got to be high up on this list. I don't know of any other prog players who can hold a groove like he can, and can still hit the proggy parts.
