What is your favorite or most used tuning?
my favorite is D standard.

Downtune your B a min 3rd

Keep your E

Downtune your A to a G

Downtune your D a half step.

When I was gigging <sigh> I had both a fretted & a fretless strung & tuned BEAD. The singer was limited & sung pretty much in G or D and it helped.

i usually play with my low E tuned to D and the rest tuned half a step down

Drop A#...dont ask why but thats what the guitarists tune in. I have to buy a 5 string set of string for my four string just to keep a nice amount of tension. I htink its A# F A# D#. or we tune in straight C
