Thos old Kramer headstocks looked cool--but they were either hot or cold to play (Mostly cold in my experience)

My favorite is actually Gibson traditional style. Only own one Gibson, though, and it's in need of restoration. Fenders are cool, too, so it's all good.

I prefer this SR Standard 5 string over the Ibanez Prestige or Premium series as those have the three keys on the other side.

I like the old Tobias headstock from the 80'/90's, love the Lakland 3+2 design, and of course the Fender Jazz and Tele…There are some really great basses out there that have horrendous headstocks too..That would make for an interesting thread but probably somehow breaks the TB rules??

What's wrong about it? It's unconventional, but 100% on purpose and for a good reason.
Moving the B outside and farther away gets around some problematic wrap-length issues that sometimes happen when using small shaft tuners.

The Ibanez SR headstock has grown on me. I used to think it was too small, but now it's the traditional Fender style I find humongous-looking

And the GHS Precision Flats' purple silks looks like they were made to match my SR400QM's headstock:

The only thing I dislike somewhat is that the E and G strings don't exit the nut to the tuners in a perfectly straight line. But I don't have any tuning issues.

Sandberg is pretty cool. I won't repost but Thunderbird and ric headstocks are cool.

I like classic Fender, and Sadowsky, but have to say that the Nordstrand "Nordy" headstock really appeals to me. It's modern without being too pointy, and the extra "tooth" at the bottom is perfect for attaching a clip-on tuner!
