Favourite Headstock Design/Shape?

I really like this one... :)

Thanks yeah the rest is pretty cool too :D

For a simple, iconic look that works perfectly with the overall proportions of the instrument, it's got to be a Fender P-bass.

I love the volute, lumber, laminations, shape and proportions I came up with for my home-made bass, back in '93. A symphony in rock maple and bubinga:

For function, it's got to be the Dingwall Afterburner- straight string pull, extra stiff thanks to the front-to-back thickness, yet lightweight because of the compact proportions, custom short-shaft Hipshot ultralights, recessed ferrules, and the elimination of the string tree.

Hands-down one of the smartest pieces of engineering I've ever seen, especially when I consider that it's an inline headstock designed to simplify and lower construction costs...

I tend to be stubbornly traditional in the headstocks I like.

When I had a custom bass built from scratch, I went for a Tele-Bass Headstock, although the wood is non-traditional Pau Ferro.
