650ish I believe. Which is nothing compared to joy one's neighbors will recieve shaking and trembling to the classics like "twinkle twinkle little star and pop goes the weasel". Not to mention Classic "I'm going to play the same 6 note slap riff till someone throws me out of guitar center".

Yep there is definately a buzz going on. It sounds like it's coming from the horn but it's screwed on tight.?.? If there is a list of usual suspects for buzzing let me know and I'll get diagnostic!

Leaks are really fun to hunt down. Try a little baby powder. Once the gremlins are exterminated these things will be stable for a long time.

One question - did you coat the baffle with Duratex or paint? Duratex makes things difficult to get air tight.

Foz- no I need to pick up some material to make a gasket for the horn

Interceptor- the baffle was paint/primer in one pained along the edges and then mostly duratexed

I bought a big roll of speaker gasket tape from parts express - perfect for the mid and horn seal.

No need to order online and pay shipping.
Go to the hardware department of any store and buy self-adhesive foam weather stripping, Mor-tite rope caulking, or plain old latex caulking. Any of those will work, although the caulking can make it difficult to ever remove things.

Agreed. If cost is a concern that's a way to go. I did not have the tools space or inclination to tackle one instead had it made by a local builder who has been down that road before. The result is a buzz rattle free cabinet that is rock solid and was cut in a CNC wood shop and painstakingly assembled. Well worth it for me but others will want the joy of doing it yourself.

My pro-tip for gasket tape was auto-parts. I got a roll of what was listed as 'camper gasket tape' that was wide and not thick and puffy. At that time Em didn't ship any of their 3012LF or 3015LFs with gaskets. I'm surprised to hear they do now. O also used it on the grill standoff. For the other hardware mounting, I used silicon caulk...a bead run around the handle cut outs, the jack plate, etc.
