Is your grill gasketed?
Handles?
Jackplate?
How big is your wiring hole to your midrange chamber?
Is your midrange chamber overstuffed?
Interior wires too long and moving against something?

There's a pile of stuff that can cause noise, basically anything that can move will make noise. Secure everything.

Do one cabinet at a time, be systematic. Don't give up, you'll get this and have a killer pair o cabs.

I had a cab making prodigious noises out of the unsealed second set of wire positions in a Speakon panel mount with screw terminals. Leave no turn unstoned.

Well I noticed in pics many people had trimmed this part of bracing that touches the baffle. I zip tied all my wires, pulled some stuffing out of midrange chamber, trimmed this piece of would that looks to me as though it might hit woofer as it pulls in.

2 things:
1st: too much wire. Thats going to make noise. You want only enough wire to get thehe speaker out and disconnected.

2nd: that brace might not be a problem but if it is, its going through your cone and probably not going to buzz. Is there a mark on the back of your speaker that matches it?

I'll take a look at the back of the speaker. But I'm hesitant as the buzzing stopped pretty much. I think your right it was the wires

That brace makes me nervous. I'd shave that back a good 1/2" if not more. I'd also consider gaskets for the drivers made from your camper tape, that surface is rough enough to possibly leak.

Nice job on the Duartex application, that looks great.

Believe it or not that 12 is sealed pretty well as I have to pry it out everytime I take it out. Maybe I'll extra gasket it not sure yet.

That kind of report has me thinking leak. It doesn't take much. Some guys are found it by having an assistant thump on the "bad" note and go all around the cabinet listening through the card board tube from a roll of paper towels.

Extra gaskets won't help. One is enough. If there's a leak you are better off making sure the mating surface on your baffle is smooth with no large bumps or divets.

Does your cabinet buzz with no baffle?

It's fixed!!! No buzzing. And the culprit in this scooby doo mystery was....... A terminal strip. I was originally going to wire with a terminal strip but was told an easier way to wire by Leland so I did that instead.
Also Leland was willing to have me ship him cabs to find the problems. If that isn't nice what is? Thanks Leland again.

Glad you found the problem - for others though, before cracking the cab open maybe try running a signal that causes the buzz [at as low a volume as possible] and lay hands upon all the exterior hardware - push on the grill, speakers, screws and plates et cetera while listening for a change in the buzz - no joy? = crack the cab.

The contacts where wires would have been put in were loose. Think of those metal things on a tambourine. When it shook it was loud

Now to the amp. I have the mesa d800 sounds good so far. But I also just bought the peavey minimega and the gk mb800.
