The 1212 spec does not call for resistors. I don't remember exactly how your xover is built. I've done a bunch in the last couple of weeks. Send me an email with a pic. There may or may not be room to add them.

The best way to do it is with your eq, but if you want to do it I'll help.

Sclift at the greenboy forum has figured a way to tame the nasty peak with a passive filter. I'd look into that as it would then play friendly with amps that don't have much, or any, precision eq up in that area.
