Here's my nearly completed 15/6/1. All it needs is the grill, which comes in tomorrow, and I'll be painting it white to match the baffle. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics...

Thanks! Your cabs definitely helped me finalize my decision to go with black/white baffle, and seeing Bardley's Orange/white baffle with white ports made me decide to go with white ports as well. I'm diggin' it.

Nice job dude! I'm jealous. Wish I was handy.......

BTW, did you decide it was light enough not to requiire handles?

Funny thing is, I'd never have called myself "handy"... This is the very first thing I've ever built. Ever. If you have the funds, just go for it. I had the panels cut at the lumberyard, and the crossovers prebuilt, but I did the rest, and it wasn't that hard with the help and advice of others on the fEARful forum, though it did take me close to a month due to my inexperience and hesitation at some points. Sure, I made a few mistakes, but that's how you learn, and now that it's done, I'm very happy with it.

As for handles, they kinda blend in, bit if you look again, I used strap handles on the sides. The cab weighs 54 lbs without grill, and those handles are plenty strong, I believe. Plus, using straps was just two less holes I had to cut and possibly mess up, so that's why I went with straps.

These things really can do everything. They can knock the grime off a sink full of dishes, and bring a 29 year old woman to a full climax just by sitting on a 66 while it is playing (attempting) Eagles Fly Free by Helloween. It happened. ;)
