fEARful users Outside America?

I shudder to think how many 410 cabs I've owned thru the years. Only have one left and it's for sale :)

I would be willing to bet if you put your 15/6 next to virtually any 410 cab, people would start to see things differently.

By the end of Spring I will only have one non fEARful cab in my possesion, and it sure as heck aint a 410!

I know there are a few owners in the UK and Europe who go on the fEARful forum.

I'd love to have a pint and a natter with you, we will have to see if we can sort something out.

But I see some of them from time to time posting, though some of them really are not forum nuts enough to follow threads. I also recall a lot of early advocate guys that the more recent fEARful users have never interacted with, and some of these great early adopter folk have been in Europe - and again the type not much for forums, at least not TalkBass.

Some of the US guys are real quiet too and pretty busy with music or other careers. But when I've contacted them many of them are enthusiastic and are using their cabs as their main or only rigs. Some people just aren't about forum presence, so they may never see this or respond.

The 'club' thing never floated me either...which is why I'm not part of a fEARful club...I figure everyone here knows what I like and what I use due to the target painted on my back.

I think it would be a fun thing to show a map with 'pins' of the known users, but its not really going to happen and probably would take more time than its worth.

Well I am from Edmonton Alberta,Canada and have the fEARful fEVEr!! Got me two cabs built by authorised builder dekker. Have a 15/6/1 and a 1515/66/1 and have been in love ever since. Had an 810 and a 410 and since getting the cabs the 810 has sold and the 410 become a breeding ground for spiders lol Been doing my best to spread the fever over here and it has been catching. Have quite a few fellow bass plays that have come down with bad cases of GAS and hopefully when they get the time and money they will be fEARful owners soon too!!

I've always been curious about the 12/6 one, but I don't think I can source the KappaLite speakers locally (South America). There's a local guy doing very nice cabs using Beymas, I wonder if I could get him to build me a fearful at an accessible price?

i know that lean business in the UK ship drivers worldwide

to use any other driver other than the recommended kappalite in a fearful would result in it not being right, its not recommended, and not supported by Greenboy or the fearful community

You'd be much better off having him build you a cab designed around the Beyma drivers than putting those drivers into a box designed for the Eminence 3012LF.

When I was pondering the issues of sourcing fEarful 15/6 components in the UK, Greenboy told me that if he were in the UK he'd get a ready built Barefaced Big One.

So I did, and haven't regretted it.

I have a LDS 15/6 that is almost identical to a fEarful that I've been gigging in Nashville for about 3 years. There's another guy here in town who built a true fEarful, but has since sold it and moved on to other designs.
