So I have A f212 and am curious what others are hitting theses cabs with. I have been using markbass lm800 and a Mesa m9. I think the m9 is the bomb w/this cab. Mark is light but don't think I am digging its tone despite trying lots of setting.

I was not impressed with the Markbass amps with my greenboy cabs. The M9 is interesting, but also wasnt my flavor.

Currently I have two main amps. Peavey Classic 400, and a Reiner JGR pre paired with a Crest ProLite 3.0 (Mark VIII as a back up). I have loved the ampeg tone stack with my cabs, and wouldnt hesitate to run a PF-800, and I look forward to the Peavey MiniMega later this summer.

I use a Tecamp Puma 1000 and it's outstanding. I've also used Acoustic Image, Ampeg, and GK and thought them all excellent with my Fearless cabs. I too am on the MiniMega want list.

The Tecamp stuff looks really nice. No place for me to try it out around here though. The GK has a lot of greenboy players ears as well. If Aguilar made a TH1000 I would be all over it (Love my TH pre amp in to my power amp).

I'm using a 15/6/1 and occasionally add a 15sub. I find a GK MB800 and M9 each work well. I also like my old GB Shuttle 6.0. Last night rehearsed with a 15/6/1, MB800, and a SansAmp ParadriverDI as a pre-amp, supporting an new Upton DB with a Revolution II pickup.

With electric, I usually go with the M9.

12/6 - Got rid of the GB Shuttle 3.0 after I hooked up the Eden WTX500, which I would've stayed at. Its just the Tech21 VTRM into a Crown XLS1500 is so much fun. Plus, that drives the 12/6 and 15sub (which I'll never need, but I can) without sweating.

If I didn't have the VTRM rack, I'd probably put my Eden WTDI in front of the Crown. But if I do that, I may as well take the WTX500. I was actually looking for an Eden Navigator, Sansamp RBI, Ampeg SVP, etc etc. Took a shot at the VTRM . Glad I did. Now I have more options.

My friend first hooked up an Ampeg Portaflex 300 into his 12/6 and loved it, for practice, until he started playing out. He thought he needed another cab, so I let him borrow the Eden WTX500. "This thing slams compared to the Ampeg!"
