That was exactly my point .
The Fender is nice but the DJ5 is even nicer and it’s you.
What was that you were saying about blocks?![]()
I cannot argue with your logic.

What an impossible task to try and somehow fill Jaco's shoes...
SOOOOOOOOO Freakin' Cool!![]()
Victor Bailey’s bass playing is like a breath of fresh air! His tone is indeed glorious on that Fernandes! He was acknowledged to be a great one and underrated at the same time.

If you like it buy it. Comparing sound is like comparing toilet paper.

Thank you. Every time I open the case and get a whiff of old nitro I have to smile.
Doc, have you checked out the Modern Vintage jazz basses? They have 60's and 70's jazz basses now.
Check them out. Ed Friedland has been touring with them recently which is a pretty good endorsement. Vintage spec'd basses with some modern touches like roasted necks. The design is nice too with the bound necks and matching headstocks. Apparently they are very high quality but I have not yet tried them. I'm not sure how available they are where you are but they do have a shop here in Canada that I have been meaning to get to.This is the first I have heard of them.
Wow that’s beautiful! Please post
Yet he did it, and did it well. What an impossible task to try and somehow fill Jaco's shoes...
