Fender 2012 basses

Love it , both my 3 year old daughter and 1 year old do the exact same thing.
They get all into it too.
It's cute as hell except when I really wanna practice and they sit there tugging at my heart strings until I cave in.
And I usually do. Lol

Brilliant photo, a couple of ones like this been posted recently, they're heartwarming!

Makes me unable to wait till I'm grown up, kids of my own

Forcing a toddler to listen to Tommy The Cat, screaming "Appreciate the bass!" in the fear that they'll grow up to be a guitarist. That's love.

Really enjoying my 2012 Fender Tele MP bass. Very unique sounding bass and what's not to like about a butterscotch blonde body with black pickguard and maple fb.
Second from the left....

I want that P on the far right.....

Yeah, that P Bass Plus is a keeper! I've looked everywhere to find a matching Jazz in the black pearl burst but it's a VERY rare color. She sounds even sweeter than she looks. I wish Fender would do a reissue of the Plus bass, the long upper horn just makes this bass balance so nice and look so cool.

If you ever decide to part with that flower bass, please PM me. Beautiful.

I'll keep that in mind. I'll likely be moving in a few months and so far I haven't found a home with enough studio space to house all my gear so quite possibly about half of it will go up for sale. Take a look at my profile, lots of interesting stuff there. PM me in November, that's when I'll sell if I'm going to.

The only substantial difference is an upgrade to '60s Custom Shop pickups. Otherwise, excepting a few cosmetic touches (mint pickguards and a new available color, Jade Pearl Metallic) - same instruments from '08 on.

2012 Fender's use carbon fiber support rods, the 2008 Am Stds don't sport this upgrade. I think the fret work is improved as well. It's like an American Deluxe, only in a 20 fret passive version, almost. Excellent value.

Really? Fender's been using Posiflex carbon support rods since... Like mid 1990s I think?
