Fender 2012 basses

I play a 2012 Fender American Standard Precision V. I absolutely love this bass. I bought it new and I always seem to discover new tones. Pluck the string in the sweet spot for that unmistakable "P" sound. Pluck the string near the bridge for a tight tone. The build quality is wonderful and after a professional set-up it plays amazingly great. Yes, it's expensive and all in all it's a great value for what you get. I also have a MIM Jazz 5-string that I put Hipshot Tuners, Bridge and Bart pickups in. Yes, my MIM "J",bass is awsome too and it's inferior to my American Standard "P". I believe it's because of the wood used and the extra quality control used in Fenser American Standard products. The Anerican Standard Precision V is a rockin' bass you won't be unhappy with.
