fender 70's precision

3 reasons:
1. One less dupe thread in the TB forums.
2. 70s or '70s is the correct way to spell the abbreviation for 1970s. I'm NOT being a grammar policeman, but the correct spelling aids search-ability.
3. The other thread's title also includes MIJ which helps avoid confusion between this awesome new bass and actual CBS-era 1970s P-basses.

Just my $0.02. I hope to see some migration to the other thread to keep talking about this awesome bass and encourage newcomers in a more search-friendly environment.

You could say, it has the classic sound of a Precision bass, or has a slightly different sound ? And tell me and your opinion, I go for the 70s precision or put a few euros more, and go to an American standard precision bass ?

I would say it is a classic pbass sound IMO. I can't say if you should get the American Standard. I would think it would be nicer, but this is a great bass. If my Geddy Lee and this '70s pbass are any indication, the basses coming out of Japan are of great quality. and the prices make them a great bargain. I've also heard that the '70s jazz bass (also MIJ) is a really nice bass.
