Fender Aerodyne Club!

Here's mine. 2010, just popped a new Babicz on there today. Love the MIJ Fenders. Plays killer, super light. May change the neck radius one day to 10" though.

Do you notice a big difference with the Babicz? Had one in my hand at GC the other day but didn't pull the trigger. Difficult to install and intonate?

Simply put: You guys own (in my estimation) the 2nd best looking bass on the planet. I absolutely love the look of these things and I haven't seen a bad one yet. Congrats to you all.

Wooo a nice thread here... Ill chime in with this one (sorry for the photo's, good webcam + bad lighting = shady pix)
Dimarzio input, DR neon greens 45 - 105, Hipshot aftermarket clone black bridge (as I pref chunkyer slotted top loaded bridges over the standard fender bridge) AND last mod "for now" a duncans basslines STK-J2B p'up.
Thinkin Ill drop a Dimarzio split P in it and get the rest of the hardware blackend out aswell

I just picked up a MIJ Aerodyne jazz, this is the best sounding bass i've ever heard. I play it through a GK Backline 600 and Cubase at church. I traded a Taylor 8 string baritone for the Aerodyne and the GK. Best deal I've ever made! I'll post pics soon.
Also, I really like flatwound strings on my other bass, does anyone use flats on the Aerodyne?

I've been using flats on my Aerodyne Precision; I like them more with a Precision pickup than a straight Jazz. I also find that I'm able to set up lower action with the flats, perhaps due to higher tension, or perhaps just lower overall string noise? Not sure, but works for me!

I'd love a number. I have a modified Aerodyne Jazz (2008 ) that is my main ride. Added a hipsop D-tuner, quarterpounders and modded the electronics to be Volume, 3-way pickup selector and tone. Works for me perfectly. Cheers, all.
