Has anyone had experience of La Bella flats on the Am Pro II Precision? A happy combination?

Can't speak to the P-Bass, but I have the LaBellas on my Am.Pro II Jazz and I really like them. But the LaBellas are probably my favorite flats. I also like the DR Legends a lot, although I've only tried them on one bass so far (American Original '60s Jazz).

As I'm in Europe, Sweetwater wouldn't sell me the incredibly light Mystic Surf Green Pro II P they had, so I had to put that plan to hold anyway

I posted my Am Pro II Precision earlier but I now have 3 Am Pro II basses and I am really enjoying them.

Both the Jazz IV and Jazz V are Roasted Pine. They work for me.

Roasted pine is nice looking. Nice and caramel-ly looking. Yours are the first ones I've seen.

Me too! Although my Pro II Precision is quite light also.

To me they almost have a 70s vibe. Almost.

Everyone complaining about prices.,, these aren't made in china, taiwan, indonesia or mexico right? My money is going to American workers and thats what matters.... if anyone can't afford these or any other usa made bass you need to head over to the squire owners club theres plenty of good recommendations there and you'll save around 1000.00 its fail proof....But When the pro 3's come out i hope nothing has changed except inflation and they're still built in USA so Fender I'm ready when you are

I'm not a fan personally either. Much easier for strings to slip off the board.

How’s the fretwork on these American Professional II’s? I’m primarily referring to the fret leveling. Has anyone found that their Am Pro II bass could benefit from a professional fret leveling, or was it spot on from the factory?

I got mine in 2020 and it’s been pretty good with that after 2 and a half years of playing it it’s still pretty good

The one I had (sold since) was good on that aspect. To be fair even my Player series Jazz Bass isn’t bad either. I suspect there might be one or two frets that could do with levelling but nothing that makes it unplayable.

This one has exceeded my expectations.. I did change out the black pickguard for a black tortoise pickguard.
Neck is awesome and I love the sound with the bridge pup at 100%, neck pup at 60% and tone rolled off a little bit.

That 'Mercury' is a killer color..

I got an Am Pro II Jazz earlier this year and the fretwork is impeccable.
