That's groovy. I am using my Fender ACB50 and the '62 P bass at this weekend's retirement community parking lot fair, which I have not done in a while. Kind of an experiment to see how the combo holds in an outdoor environment.

my AVRI Precision is a 1991. Recently had to do a full re-fret. Now it plays as good as ever.

I have a 58 P, a 63 P, and a 64 Jazz from the American Vintage line, and agree that they are fantastic basses. I like them more than the American Orginals that I had. The 63 is particularly good.

Unfortunately, I had to use the Fender TV12, which in and of itself is a great combo, but I still need to get the ACB50 into the outdoors.

I bought the Dakota red AVRI '62 Jazz Bass new, but didn't much care for the mint green pickguard. I quickly replaced it with a single play matte black one, and it's been my main rock bass for more than two decades. I just received a hand-painted pickguard from Jennifer Armstrong (who lives in Glasgow) and replaced the black one.
