Fender bass humbucker splittable?

I'm thinking of incorporating this into a build, but I'm not sure if you can split this so it operates as a single coil via toggle switch.

Do any of you know?

You can find pickups like that that are coil-splittable.

Sentell Pickups bass guitar pickups makes them by hand so you could request 4-conductor wiring.

I think Rio Grande and some other companies make them as well.

The rio grande option is cool, but it's. MM housing. I may just start looking at passive splittable MM style pickups.

There's a plethora of those available....Bartonlini, Nordstrand, Delano, Duncan, Lace Sensor.

I probably recommend the Lace Sensor Man O War because it's still hum free even in single coil mode.

That's what I was thinking. Is it just a matter of resoldering a few wires?

The humbuckers in my Blacktop have 4 wires, and they look pretty similar. Mine are sealed on the back though.

Yes.

But apparently Super_Freak's post has clarified that the pickups cannot be modified.
