Fender Blacktop Club

Hey guys, I asked a similar question on the aerodyne thread, but how does a blacktop j bass compare with the aerodyne (just sound specs I know all the feel and parts and that). Then how does the blacktop compare to the squier VM p bass and CV 60s p?

It's alder so it will sound punchier than basswood which is usually muddy on the bottom. I think all the others you mentioned are basswood.

Ok guys, now my BT is as I like it: SD Quarter Pounds, ALPS "B" 250K pots, Chromes flats and "no JB" knobs, because isn't a JB, it's an Animal, "plus" a Tone Hammer preamp pedal, shure.

im not asking which ones is better (cause im betting alot of u would say the blacktop j bass probably lol) but i have 2 comparisons

1. musicman bongo vs fender modernplayer jazz with combined pickups from squier 77 and fender american standard jazz

2. blacktop precision vs geddy lee vs 60s vs aerodyne
