Did you pick that up from another TB'er? I think I was the original owner of that bass. If so, I agree it was very, very nice.
I'm glad it found a good home. By the way, it is a 2016, not a 2017.
I decided to get rid of the bass because I'm ordering a PJ bass in the same charcoal frost with tort with a bound & blocked neck and paddle tuners. Ordered in March, should be getting a call from my dealer any day now...

Question for mainly NOS CS owners: have you noticed lacquer wear on the neck or the body? I ask in order to understand the natural aging of nitrocellulose. My neck becomes blurry after hours of usage, but it is because of sweat etc. Do these substances weaken the finish gradually?
No, I don't think you'll have a problem. In fact, a couple summers ago I was playing a lot of hot, humid gigs and my neck would get "sticky". I read on TB to lightly use very, very fine Scotchbrite (don't use steel wool because the "dust" adheres to the PUP magnets) which left a nice satin finish and the stickiness disappeared. After many more weeks of playing, the original shiny finish returned and the neck was back to original. Of course, too much Scotchbrite and the finish would probably lose it's shine altogether. I haven't done it again because I haven't encountered tha same hot, humid conditions for long periods. Anyway, back to your situation, a little buffing with non-silicone polish might return the shine. I imagine, though, that years of use will wear the nitro away (down to the bare wood in extreme cases) just like the vintage stuff and relics.
Oh, I don't have any problem with it and I always restore the shine with a polish.

My AVRI is a nitro finish and almost a year old. It still feels brand new. I play it regularly and have gigged with it a few times.

This was one of two Custom Bahama Green Jazz basses ,made for the one and only Phil Chen (Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart) and was built by J.W. Black at the Corona Custom Shop.
I was able to dig up the original build list for Mr. Black and found my serial number logged in there too... I love this bass (sorry for s*&ty pics)

As much as I'd love to take credit for those basses, they're not mine...I'm holding it down with a lonely '64 P...
Someone else was doing it a few pages ago because the other guy hasn't been around in a long time...it was the guy with the Artisan P...@Gbonus Uralias and @tat2clod: club numbers are being given by @dmn808; I think he will assign you yours soon.
