Fender Custom Shop Club

Hmmm, I thought I had already joined but apparently I was mistaken. Here's mine, the fiesta red 64 RI.

Today was new-string/conditioning/cleaning-day. :)
I put on a set of Stadium Elite Player .045-.105 (curious to test them), conditioned the fretboard with Fret Doctor and cleaned the instrument with Gibson Luthier's Choice Hi Gloss Polish.

During the fretboard conditioning, I was hypnotized by the rosewood coming back to life; the color, the rich straight grain pattern, all was beautiful.
Some pics that I took; they are not depicting the true colors and depth of it, but you get the idea. :)

It's the shops ordering them; and that is the essence of Fender Custom Shop, why not order a more special one since there are so many available options?

I believe shops carrying them should be all over the vintage colors, at least.
Nah I get it...I just don't see many shops stateside that take more risks commissioning basses with more unique finishes...maybe the traditional look is what sells here..
