I'm actually waiting for my printer to print some off while I'm posting this.

Mighty Mite DOES have a licence directly from Fender to sell Fender Necks.
I think I'll put a Cadillac emblem on a Geo Metro since they are both GM products. That would look so cool, and it would be totally legit!![]()
The thing that pisses off the people against this is how hard the ones who do it work at justifying it. I really don't care much what anyone does, but the ridiculous justifications here get me going. Especially the "pay tribute" crap. What else do these people pay tribute to? It's a cheesy, dishonest thing to do that you wouldn't even think of doing if you were fine with yourself, your playing, and your finances. If ya want to do it, do it.
Not really, they have a license to manufacture and sell necks using the tradmarked Fender headstock shape...big difference. They aren't Fender necks, they only have the headstock shape.
Warmoth and Allparts have similar licensing agreements to manufacture and sell necks using the tradmarked Fender headstock shape.
Mighty Mite DOES have a licence directly from Fender to sell Fender Necks. So Fender does sell them, Through Mighty Mite.

Hilarious...I go to buy some gear from CL a few hours ago and I was playing the guys bass through the cabinets I was looking at....the headstock had "Fender" on the headstock...no other verbiage...I turn it around and the neck plate said "Squier".....but since I could tell the difference between a legit Fender and a Squier I could care less. Just thought it was funny since this thread blew up today.
You find it funny that someone tried to rip you off?
from squier website:"Squier is Fender—sharing its product platforms, trademarks, standards and iconic designs."

I'm sure it's probably been mentioned already, but just in case...
How many of you guys have sanded Sadowsky off your basses to put the Fender logo? You know, to pay homage to Fender for coming up with the idea? A tribute.
Burlington, when you do this I'll change my mind about everything I've said in this thread. As soon as anyone does this, I'll change my mind... and guess what....
none of you will.
I guarantee it.
