Oh BTW, I had a Nash PB-55 w/ this I kept it in perfect intonation.
Necro-thread... I know. However... to the point: what´s the magic to be able to get proper intonation with these?
Zombie thread resurrection. This should be arriving in a few days. Unfortunately these are not the exact photos of the bass as they were removed immediately after I purchased it and was not able to get them down. Still I'm pretty stoked that this will be coming home to me soon.

If it's as nice as the two I checked out locally you will love it!
After hearing the reviews and the Youtube clips, I'm loving the sound of that custom SC pickup. The fact it has the 1.5 neck was key as well as the 7.11 lbs weight didn't hurt either. There are a few of these still floating around in stores that deals can be made on.
Cool! Can't wait for this puppy to show. It will be great for the blues tunes we have been doing.
I don’t know if Bruno still frequents TB, but I am curious if these are stock strings on this clip?
...and yours lookShe's a beauty, and I'd love to own one, but not at that price. If you don't have the wherewithal to do it yourself but have the necessary scratch, then it's your only bet.
I don't have the chops to make one either but I can design a concept, procure, personalize, assemble, adjust, outsource various services, and ultimately produce a quality instrument. And at a very reasonable price using Warmoth and other off the self parts. My dad custom made the bridge and control plate and I already owned the pickup, which certainly didn't hurt the bottom line. ;-)
Btw, slab bodies and 2 saddle bridges are died, fried, and parted on the side.

I'd could never afford one. BUT it IS one of the nicest sounding and playing basses I've ever had in my hands.
I'd played other custom shop basses and felt pretty meh about it.
When I played this one my first thought was, now I get it.
If I had that kind of disposable income, I'd buy one.
