Allentown, PA!
Spied these on Instagram — Japan-made and allegedly soon available on the Fender site. Offered here strictly as a curiosity.

What will they think of next?
Hey, let's call them Aerodynes, even though they're not quite what most people think of when they think Aerodyne. That way, we can count on Aerodyne and Boxer fans buying them!
I have to say I've never heard anyone call white and two-color-burst vibrant before!
Other than that, nice touch putting the white access plate on the green one. That's some heads-up thinking there.

What's Aerodyne about those?

No PJ, not even the cool knobs that come with the Aerodyne, and the hardware doesn't seem to have that matte chrome look. And no front jack.

Those look like parts basses.

"State of the art hardware".
Yeah, especially the bridge. And those giant tuner plates.
I can see flat-topped bound bodies and skinny Jazz neck widths.

Thx for posting, always cool to see new stuff. I'll keep an eye on'em in the local shops, just to get a feeler. I recently tried a Boxer and liked the sound but not the feel and ended buying a parts bass off the locals, with a P body but a J neck. Who knows, maybe this will feel and sound right for me. That 'burst is definitely talking to me, but I'm hearing whispers from the white one as well.

Believe they will be offered direct thru the Fender website but don’t hold me to that.
