Fender Japan Aerodyne Special Precision

These were so much better:

No question - these new offerings aren't even in the same league as that beauty. What a beautiful bass.

I dig the white one! Kinda wish it had a maple fretboard, though, for purely cosmetic reasons. Unfortunately, I'm almost certain they're gonna be 'overpriced' for what they are. Otherwise, I could see myself sporting the white one as a workhorse on stage.
I'm really trying to like the green one, too, but the colour just reminds me of pea soup, somehow. :roflmao: Might look cool, irl, though.

I don’t get the whole ‘back to the BAD ‘80s’ vibe. I don’t dislike the white with matching headstock, tho, and generally CIJ quality is top shelf.
For some of us, the 80s represented the last decade of fun. After that we started taking ourselves WAY too seriously. The last few decades have been a continuous fun vacuum. Giant sucking sound. Serious, offended, people everywhere you look.

Bring back the 80s for all I care!
