Just wondered across this on my scheduled browsing of Fender's JP site.

I'm GASing pretty hard right now, truth be told.

That's kinda cool! I was saying just yesterday in another thread that I would like to get a semi-hollow body but that I prefer Fender styled instruments. Voila, here it is!

Man, I wish fender USA would pay some attention to fender Japan's lineup.
'66 reissue jazz? Bass VI? Lake placid blue? And now this?

All you need to do is get to know the fine folks at Ishibashi Music.
3-5 days and they will get you anything on the Fender Japan web site. Yeah it costs a few bucks but well worth it.
That's how I got my black 32" Jazz.
They even have sales people that speak, read and write english!

The biggest problem is all the case candy is in Japanese.
I couldn't read my owners manual so it took me forever to figure out how to use a Jazz bass....

And I just checked their website, and they have a MIJ Fender P FRETLESS for about $1000! I wanted one for the longest time. The burst is sick.
