Fender Mustang Club

Love the colour of this bass. I'm a big fan of a lot of the custom colours Fender offered in the 60s, and shell pink is one of my very favourite. Having a lot of fun with this bass so far.

Did it arrive? Got a pic? When you do, I have a number for you!

It did! I love it. The bass is gorgeous. The body's wood grain is so straight, I can't find where it was glued up, making it appear like one solid slab.

There are a few minor issues that can be addressed. The frets edges aren't horrible, but could be dressed a little better. The P pickups are sitting kind of wonky. Not just tilted to the outside, as normal, but also tilted down towards the bridge. I think the foam underneath needs shifted to get them level on that axis. Some ultralight tuners would help the balance, but the neck dive isn't all that bad, so not sure if it would be worth the $$$.

Beauty! Love that straight grain! Not sure I've seen another natural finish 'stang on the remuda, though I'll bet I am corrected PDQ on this thread! Good! Flo loves pics!

Also nice to welcome a new addition to the corral - it's been awhile. You are #103.

Hoping to join this club soon!!!

Cool! Looking forward to seeing whatever 'stang you manage to lasso!

Just a reminder to any interested newcomers - only two things needed to join our unruly wild bunch:
1) request (we'd never presume to give anyone a number who didn't actually ask for one)
2) pic of your Mustang(s)

Numbers are permanent. Even if you move on to another axe, you remain an honorary member forever.

Ride 'em!
