Fender Mustang Club

What's CV stand for - Custom Vintera? Squier also made a Musicmaster Vista series bass in the late 90's with matching body/headstock colors. I see those and the Squire VM Mustang basses on Reverb and eBay once in awhile. They're not terribly hard to find and not terribly expensive either. Also, if you do a Search All of Craigslist you might find what you're looking for. In that scenario it's just a matter of convincing the seller that you're not a scammer and that you're willing to pay for shipping out of state. I found two of my 70's Mustangs that way at VERY reasonable prices and both have the full maple necks!

CV=Classic Vibe. I have only seen a VM Mustang maybe twice on Reverb and they only made the MM Vista for a year, they are incredibly hard to find and sell for double what they sold for in 1996. How do you search all Craigslist?

There are currently two Squire MM Vista basses on eBay right now. A Squire VM Mustang just sold about a week ago for about $700. I have seen both of these come up on eBay and Reverb over the past few months. I check every day.
