I went with VT VT just so I could turn up or down the volume one of the Pickups without changing the volume of the other Pickup.
Cool, that's what I thought. Something for me to consider, thanks! I like the look of the stacked knobs too.

My question: what problems was the OP fixing by making these upgrades?
My contention is that it's not an upgrade unless it's solving a problem. Otherwise, it's just swapping parts for aesthetic reasons or personal preference.

It was mostly Personal Preference. I don't leave anything stock.lol Well the 3 way switch was bad. The stock Pickups didn't sound all that good so they need to replaced. The String Nut spacing didn't look right, but I always replace the nut with a Vintage Bone Nut on all my Guitars.
It there a problem with aesthetic modifications?
The mint guard on my red fretless is going to be replaced with a tort guard. I am not aware of any functional purpose for changing a pickguard. I changed the pickup covers on my sonic blue fretted MPJ with white covers.
Where did you get the white pickup covers?
Can't recall, I'll try to find it for you. They look awesom on the sonic blue one.
The bass had a SERIOUS problem with the pickguard. Now that it has a proper Tort guard, we can all sleep easy.My question: what problems was the OP fixing by making these upgrades?

My 2017 Mustang in Vintage White. This what I've upgraded so far.
The nut to a Vintage Bone Nut. Hipshot KickAss High-Mass bridge.
Switchcraft input jack. Fender American Nickel String Guide.
Switchcraft 3-Way Selector Switch. Seymour Duncan pickups SPB-1 and STK-J1B.
Fender Concentric Pots. Allparts Chrome Stacked Knobs.
Schaller Nickel Straplocks.WD Red Pearl Pickguard. D'Addario Chromes Strings.

This turned out great! Which 3 way switch did you use? Was it the short, long or right angle? Would this one work:

Bass looks great with those white covers. But that looks like off white rather than sonic blue. Thats my only gripe about this finish.
Did you find where you got those covers ? I have a sonic blue one too, that looks great ! Are they easy to install ?Can't recall, I'll try to find it for you. They look awesom on the sonic blue one.
Do you need any thing else with the one from stew mac , nut or anything , or is it ready to install when it arrives ? Thanks .Yes! That's the one I used, but mine didn't come with a (tip) knob. You'll have get a nut so you can adjust the height to get the right amount of threads above the pickguard.

will the old switch knob fit ? if not which knob or thread style will work ? Thanks .Mine came with recessed knurled nut, but I had to file the shaft down on it to make it fit. You might want to get a Toggle Switch Knob and lock washer #4389.
