Fender Mustang PJ upgrades

Yes! That's the one I used, but mine didn't come with a (tip) knob. You'll have get a nut so you can adjust the height to get the right amount of threads above the pickguard.
Just noticed if that's the same switch from amazon , seller is Art of Tone on ebay , with Stew Macs shipping its 27.00 , from ebay its 16.00 with shipping , dose it appear to be the same switch for sure as yours ? Thanks .

Yes it's the same switch, but you will still need the Switchcrat Deep Nut or a nut that would fit. I looked on Amazon it's 6.29, but ebay has one from lone_star_guitars for 6.99 with shipping that looks like the shaft on the nut is shorter so you wouldn't have file it down or cut some of it off to make it work.

is the shaft you were saying to file down the part with the threads ?

This is what mine looked like. Switchcraft Deep Nut, For Toggle Switches, Nickel | eBay
The shaft is too long so when the nuts are tight the switch is still loose in the pickguard.

****I don't know what I was thinking!!!****It's not the nuts get tight:( It's that there isn't enough threads above the pickguard for the top nut to go on.

Pickguard planet has a selection of pickguards for the 2017 Mustang. Got mine from them. Only modification I’ve done since that is get a white knob for the toggle.

Nice! Looking at your Bridge I see the E string saddle is way back about like mine was. So if you ever plan on a new bridge you might have to move it back about 1/8th of inch. Can't find Pickguard Planet. Do you have a link?

I fitted the Fender High-mass bridge to mine. It still uses the original holes but the back of the bridge is further back so giving a shallower angle to the strings.

I like the way that looks. I see there are a couple Fender Hi Mass bridges on eBay for around $25-$30. Are those legit or are the Hi Mass bridges usually more expensive?

Pickguards are arriving today, looking forward to getting the mint guard off of my Torino Red fretless. I bought two, so I'll see if if looks good on the sonic blue with the white pick ups. If not, I'll set it.
