Fender Mustang!

I love the look and tone of the new mustang reissue-but my main axe is a 7-string,so I had a major challenge on my hands when I played one @ Richmond Music. Be Blessed Chaz. PS- Tina Weymouth of the "talking heads" also plays a stang.

Don't change the pickups until you try it first, I love the pickups in mine (and don't think I only keep stock pickups, I've got nordstrands in my P). Also I run flats on the mustang and it's just a consistent fun bass. Great sound.

Does anyone know where the pickups were sourced from, I looked at them and they've got big pole pieces like a seymour duncan would have or something.

I have to say that I have a bit of GAS for the RI Mustang Bass. Everytime I pick one up in a store and play it, it sounds and feels like a perfectly downsized version of my beloved P-Basses, and SO much fun to get around on.

The thing about flats on string-through's: HOGWASH!!! :rollno:
