It would be an interesting experiment, though: what would talkbass democratically elect as it's bass? It'd be fun to post a couple threads a day with polls: how many strings, woods, pickup configuration, etc, and see what the hive comes up with.

To ensure its resale value for future generations, they should produce a run of 69 basses with a "lawsuit" headstock, copying the G&L current design...hey, Leo got it right this time. :O)
If anything, SX should make the TB bass and it would be the ultimate bass to end all basses, enough to shutdown this site and every other bass maker in the world.

By the way, no gigbag is needed, it will never gig, so why bother! Integrated stand legs and dust cover will make sense though.
It should be an FMIC MIA SX copy, replete with "new ugly headstock" and it would eventually be referred to as the "SX Lawsuit bass".

yeah we all want to be clever smart and awesome with our comments..but in all seriousness, using several polls we actually could come up with absolute and definate answers based on the numbers.
yes, it would prolly be a fender pbass..but id be very curious to see what THE preferred TB bass turns out to be.
