John K (Kallas) had an original precision in seafoam and did refinish work in the past.

I did not know I had. Thank you for pointing it out! I will swap it out with the correct Fender part number shortly.

I could be wrong and people can correct me but make sure you get the squared off cover as it is more period correct.

Big thanks to mikeswals (here), and a couple people on a 'popular internet auction site', where I currently have the bass listed for sale, for pointing out my error in pickup covers.​

The '59 is now sporting a more correct period cover. I thought about searching for an actual 'vintage' one - to match the bridge cover...and think I'll let a new owner do that.​
