Nice bass just not moved by gold plating on instruments, or anything else but nickle or chrome for that matter.

I seen them when they was first coming back on, when I was able to afford one , they was sold out .. so I bought another p bass fender.. and dropped gzr pu in it. I will still get one when I can.TBErs,
Just wanted to share how fantanstic I think the Fender Precision "Midnight" edition is.
I bougth one yesterday , after having tried a few P basses.
The bass is awesome, the details , the finishing , the sound is gorgeous, like a P bass is supposed to sound.
The finishing on the neck is incredibly smooth, and this, is an easy neck to play on.
At the store (Steve's music in Montreal, Canada) they adjusted the neck perfectly for me , so I came home with an amazing ready to play/gig bass.
The price point is excellent also.
I'm just amazed at the quality of the bass, so clean, so smooth, so solid, and the tone is sweet with an attitude let's say.
Can't wait to run it through a gutsy Ampeg or something.
Merry xmass to all.

Cool Bass, love the low key logo on the headstock. I can't help but wonder why they went with gold hardware. I would think black hardware would go better with the "Midnight" name.
Congratulations

Very nice.
Now, how about a Jazz version?
Yeah, you'd better take that back and get a refund!Love mine!! Take a look at the Gold Logo on Mine. Very Rare. Only one I ever seen.
Fender was very cool about it. They asked me to send In the seriel number and picture of logo. He wrote back and said everyone in the office said it's super rare and that logo should have been on it inThe first place. They said it looks better then the white. They also said the guy I bought it from bought it right from fender and had they cought it it would have never been sold. Nice to have the only one....lolYeah, you'd better take that back and get a refund!
Seriously though, I don't remember ever seeing one with a gold logo. You'd think that's the way the would've gone in the first place.
