I wish it was only $20! I wanted to get a Squier Bass VI when they were $349. They've gone up $100!Been looking at the normal websites and seems like the Squiers prices went up 20.00, especially the Vintage modifieds and Classic Vibes...![]()

Don't kid youself that the manufacturers don't follow our posts on TB and other forums. They no doubt do. Take the Squier Jaguar ss. There are multiple posts about what a bargaun it was at $179.00. We're lucky thay only upped it by $20.00.Been looking at the normal websites and seems like the Squiers prices went up 20.00, especially the Vintage modifieds and Classic Vibes...![]()
I have basses. Two 6 strings, two 4's and a 5 string. A Bass VI would be a nice addition, plus I never learned to play guitar so I figure this as the perfect way to learn while still having a string feel I'm used to.I would have bought a Bass VI on a whim when it was $349, but not anymore. It's too much of a 'niche' or 'novelty' instrument for me to justify spending much more than that.
