Fender Rumble 800 Combo Thread for the NEW 2022 800 Combo

yes, of course we used a large concert sound system, but this is also an interesting fact. a funny thing happened during the sound check :} the gentleman who was setting the level in front of the stage asked me during the sound check if I could turn it down a little, because I covered the whole band with my sound... I replied politely, well... if necessary :} }}} I'll add that no, it wasn't too loud on stage. I have a loud drummer. :}
as for the acceptance of 2x10... I had no problems with this combo... it's a very effective monster :}:D:D:D:hiper:

Not only is it on the 7ender website, but it came up featured on the Rumble page just now!

I also found it on all major online musical instrument websites I tried, except Sam Ash, which was also missing a few other Rumble models for reasons unbeknownst. But, certainly no shortage that I could ascertain.

You should come introduce yours in the TalkBass Fender Rumble Club and get a free membership, along with keys to all kinds of Rumbling goodness. :thumbsup:

My pre-ordered Rumble 800 combo gets delivered on Thursday and I’m definitely looking forward to using it at some medium sized clubs I’ll be working at this weekend.

I know one forum member has already received his and has posted some impressions about the 800.

Having owned many Rumble combos over the years I’m definitely interested to see how this new 800 compares to the Rumble 500 combo in regards to the extra wattage, the volume and punch and many other differences.
This is also a first for a Rumble combo to be using Neodymium drivers which I’m also very interested in hearing.
The 29lb weight is also very cool.

Hopefully Fender will introduce a 210 or 1x15 extension cab with Neodymium drivers and hopefully any extension cab will of be equal size proportions to match the 800 combo dimensions.
Stacking the Rumble 200 or 500 combos on top of the 1x15 extension cab has always looked so ugly.
Years ago I had my Rumble 500 combo sitting on top of my Rumble 1x12 extension cab and that looked and sounded great, unfortunately Fender discontinued the Rumble 1x12 cab years ago, it would be nice to see that 1x12 cab return with a Neodymium driver but I’m guessing that won’t happen.

Anyhow, hopefully this can be a dedicated thread for the new Rumble 800 and hopefully this thread doesn’t get lumped into the Rumble Club thread and get buried in with all the other Rumble’s.

Thoughts, opinions, feedback and staying on topic for the new for 2022 Rumble 800 combo welcome.

New to the thread. Just got myself the 800 combo. I was torn between the stage or this. I chose this because I wanted the analog style sound and functions. I don't need the effects or modeling (I can add later via something else if wanted.) Plus the 29lb weight is awesome. My old rumble 60 weighs 46lbs. Crazy the volume the 800 puts out, without the additional cabinet (planning for that down the road).

Forgive me for not reading through all of the posts at this point in time, I just wanted to see if anyone has tried using an Orange OBC-112 cabinet with the Rumble 800 (or 500 for that matter).
I think it would work great (esthetically, go for the black one(s)).
Size-wise almost a perfect fit.
They only weigh 26 pounds.
And I think they are pretty efficient as well.
$550 new or look for 2nd hand.

I'm sure it will work fine. The 800 volume pot (on my combo at least) slowly changes as you increase it (unlike my Carvin BX500 which goes from soft to thunder pretty instantly).

I heard a decent recording of the Orange OBC-112, I would no longer recommend that cab.
It's not terrible, but there are better cabs for about the same money, like the RevSound RS112.
