Fender Rumble Club

I'm liking the 15 inch cab. I feel it more than the 2x10 I think. Haven't been able to play with it much mostly low volume. Rehearsal tomorrow and gig Tuesday. I plan to play it at my gig with old rig standing by.

I'll probably play with combo on its side instead of how this pic was taken.

Are they still doing numbers for Rumble Club?

Thats exactly the rig I started rumbling with a couple of years ago. Liked the 15 so much that when I started playing in a second band, I just got me a 500 head and a second 115 cab. Now I'm using the 500 c alone for my low volume blues band and the 2*115 stack for my rock band with a heavy handed drummer. I just love the 15 cabs!

Interesting! But, first I measured the distance between the rubber feet of my Bassman 500. They are on 20" centers,, making the inside space about 18-7/8"!!! Good luck trying to balance that on the 19" wide cab. I'm not even gonna try for a photo, sorry.

I agree with @Meghans Dad. Put your two 112s side-by-side if you want to put a Bassman 500 or 800 head on top.

Bought a secondhand Peavey Foundation bass last week, (soft spot for American made Peavey basses) & I wanted a "beater" to save wear & tear on my Am.Std Precision.
Anyhow it sounds great through the Rumble 200 :D all settings are left as per the Precision, and the combination of Jazz style pickups & rounds gives me the best of both worlds. :thumbsup:

At a gig last night I forgot my DI, so I used the Rumble 500 heads lineout for the first time.....it sounded perfectly fine, and as a matter of fact a fellow bass player in the audience said the bass was real clear sounding. I rarely adjust stage volume once it's set and it sounded good, so I am no longer concerned or consider it an issue that its "post" everything.

Just bought a Rumble 40.
Im amazed at how light it is and it sounds good too...just daisy chained it to my BA110 cause I cant bring my self to sell the BA and the pair make quite a noise...plenty of volume for my quietish function band.

I'd just get a 21"/22" wide board and set it atop the speaker cab, put the head atop that. Would there be an issue with that I'm unaware of ?

Just picked up a Rumble 500 head, upgraded from an Ampeg BA115. I'm currently running it through a Mesa 212 that I'm borrowing from a friend, but doing some cab shopping (probably something used). Played my first gig through the rig last night and it was incredible, the head really cranks. Thanks to everybody for the tone suggestion excel spreadsheet and wisdom on here. I've spent weeks reading through these forums about so many types of amps and I'm glad I found this club.

had a gig on saturday with my rumble 200 2x12 stack. the foh had two subs with 350w rms each. to my surprise there was almost no gain in volume and sub bass even with the subs maxed out, so most of the sound came from my amp and everything worked just fine (gain at noon, eq flat, volume at 3 o'clock)

I've been out sick for a week and not able to get enough energy to get online. I did have gigs both Friday and Saturday. Saturday I had to cancel because I was in the ER getting breathing treatments. Turns out I had Bronchospasms. To me it sounds like a Japanese sea monster movie title.
Friday I made the gig because I was told we would have a good PA and I wouldn't have to bring mine. So, I took the 100 to plug into the board and 1 bass. Setting up, I found I had 1 bad mic cord and could either have my mic or my bass in the board. Obviously, I need the mic. So, I said okay, little feller, let's see what you can really do. I cranked the volume to 2 and gain to 11. This club has a low ceiling but is fairly large. I'm guessing 500 - 600 sqft (+/-).
I was really amazed when our manager told me I was too loud, so I turned volume back to 12. It was kicking. Later, a waitress came up and said the whole band needed to turn up, it wasn't loud enough. Okay, fine, back to 2.
I can't believe that little amp rocked it with a Marshall half stack and acoustic drums.

That's sounds awful. You guys have been in the 100's down there lately. Helluva time to be sick.

Your humidity stays kinda low doesn't it? Over here in Breaux Bridge, with the humidity it's stifling, if you have breathing problems it's best to stay inside in air conditioned air!!!!!!!!!!!!:dead::dead::dead::dead:

It's so danged humid here in Savannah that we have to sleep hanging upside down like a wombat....so that the fluids will drain from our lungs.
