It is. I had it written down at one point, but a little searching and I found it, #662.
I joined the club yesterday. I picked up a Rumbe 25 for home practice. I played around with tones a little, but mostly I am keeping things clean since I am trying to relearn bass after decades away. Sure I will love it!
On my new Rumble 25s, it took a few hours of playing time for the speaker to loosen up, and the nice low end to really develop. In other words, it gets better with age.
Just got back from a corporate party in a hotel last nite after getting back into playing follwoing a long lay off. Rig?...two el cheapo Rumble 40 combos stacked. Ha....what a funny little rig but I'm amazed by how well it coped with the room. (low ceiling, carpet etc)...sounded pretty meaty with my P bass wearing the 63 pure vintage PU's.
Connect a short cable between the line out on one into the guitar input of the second, not perfect cause its post EQ but seems to work ok..only did it cause I dont know if I want to shell out on a rig yet..not sure if I'm gonna continue etc so it will do for now.
Anyone Rumble with the Boss GT-1B Bass Multi-Effects Processor?
I just can't see buying a compressor, chorus, tuner, reverb, delay separately. The cost of 1.5 pedals gets me all of them. I like Boss stuff. Just curious if anyone has tried it.
I have the Boss Katana guitar amp and love the built in multi effects. Hoping for the same experience.

BOSS is good stuff. I haven't played through a GT-1B. I like my ZOOM B3, but don't use it much anymore.
I have a question for those of you who have compared the 500 and 200 side by side. I've been using my 200 in clubs, including last night. I don't feel I get enough highs sometimes. The horn is working fine. I run a Precision with Thomastik flats which aren't known for their highs, of course. Although I love a 15 inch speaker, I was wondering if the 500 might somehow translate into more highs in the mix with the two 10s? Last night, I ran my Highs and High Mids dimed.
I've had several Rumbles. Relevant to your question: the 200c and 500c. I much preferred the 200 because of the 15". But you might like the 500c as it's a bit less boomy with the 2x10". I now use the 500 head with 15" cab. You might want to also try a cab with the 200.
Yikes! That had to be harsh as all get out. You can't boost highs that aren't there to be boosted. Time to restring with roundwounds. Give these a go Review: GHS Balanced Nickels 4M-NB
^^^This^^^ is a good idea. While the Rumble 500 is never a bad choice, the addition of a Rumble 210 cabinet might be just the thing. The good thing is that you can always audition a Rumble 500 combo to find out.
Requesting permission to come aboard...here's my R-40 with Ibby Mikro. This is a dandy home rig. The Rumble is great sounding but there is still lots to learn. It's fun to ask someone who has never seen one to pick it up and then watch their reaction.....!

Sounds to me like you already answered your own question it's the strings. Try some roundwounds
I came up with another possible theory about my missing highs on the Rumble 200. I always play my 200 on an Auralex GRAMMA v2 Isolation Riser on the floor, which puts the horn just above knee-level for me. Since I stood between 1 and 2 feet in front of the amp last night, I might be the only one in the room who isn't hearing the highs? I bet that is what happened. It was a tiny stage with 5 people on it at a time, so I was tucked in with my amp against the back wall.
That pickup is awesome! I one in a P and ordered another to put into my other P.

There you go. Get a Rumble 112 anyway. Makes a dandy amp stand. Moves some more air, and accesses additional wattage.
