Yes, indeed it is. During their Christmas sale MF/GC had all Fender Rumbles 15% off after you put one in your shopping cart. $169 is ridiculously cheap, and I was this close [holds up thumb and index finger one inch apart] to pulling the trigger, but knew NAMM was only days away.

Is it 800 watts by itself, or with an extension cab like the 500?

I'd put money on it being 800w with an extension cab. Probably something like 600 alone...

Pretty sure on its own it's got enough grunt to jiggle your giblets plenty.

We won't know that until later. I have high hopes that Fender will add the Stage 800 and Studio 40 to their website on Monday.

Lots of European retail websites have the new Stage & Studio displayed, some with pre-order capability!

But I've not found any American retail websites that even mention them, aside from the 200/500/Stage multi-cover on Sweetwater. What's up with that? Has Fender got them sworn to secrecy, or something, that doesn't apply to the Europeans?

Do you know if that stage 800 is going to be available with the silver Sparkle Grill cloth? The black is okay but the silver has a much more classic look.

I doubt it, but you can cheaply & easily swap it out along with chrome corners.

If I hadn't gotten my 500c and 210 extension cab less than a year ago I might have interest in the new stuff. As is I'm perfectly happy, thank you.

I have a ZOOM B3 and it's not even close to the groovy goodness of the new digital Rumbles. Not by a mile. Just that short noisy little video was enough to convince me. ZOOM is going to be sold or just traded in on a Studio 40. Rumble 75 also going bye-bye.
